5T0, MAURITANIA. A group of Polish radio amateurs (SP2EBG, SP3CYY, SP3GEM, SP6EQZ, SP3FXY and SP6IXF) with the special participation of Jean, 5T0JL, will be active as 5T0SP between November 24th and December 10th, from Mauritania. DX Bulletin No. 1073

Nick, G3RWF, reports, "Someone is currently pirating my Ugandan call (G3RWF) - he/she/it was on 20m today (August 1st) at about 1215 UTC - also on 40m a few days ago (and also last March fwiw). I hope to return to Uganda in October, but no dates yet fixed." Nick told OPDX, "Current plans are for a return to Uganda in mid-October for 8 weeks - taking in CQWWCW (maybe SSB too if I can find my mic) and the ARRL 10m contest (if 10m wakes up again properly!)."

2O12, ENGLAND (Update - Special Event Amateur Radio Station for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games). Publicity Liaison Officer John Warburton, G4IRN, sent out the following "Press Release #5" on July 16t: "As a celebration of the London Olympic and Paralympic Games, two flagship amateur radio stations will be active during the Games as part of the Cultural Olympiad. The Cray Valley Radio Society is to host England's celebration from the Royal Borough of Greenwich, home to many of London's events outside the main Olympic arena. The call-sign used will be 2O12L (two Oscar one two Lima).
